FAQ

  • What's Considered Late?

To avoid being considered late, the general recommendation is to arrive at least 10 minutes before the class is scheduled to start, which allows enough time to check in, use the restroom, and get settled with your equipment.

The policy is a "zero tolerance" rule for punctuality:

Doors lock at the scheduled class start time.

You will not be allowed access if you arrive after the doors are locked, even if it's only a few minutes past the start time.

  • What is your class cancellation policy?

We have a strict 12-hour cancellation window. Classes must be canceled online at least 12 hours before the scheduled start time to avoid a penalty.

  • What happens if I cancel within the 12-hour window or don't show up?

For cancellations within the 12-hour window (late cancels) or if you do not show up for your class (no-show), you will be charged a late fee of $15 & forfeit a class credit. This policy helps ensure that waitlisted clients have an opportunity to book a spot in class.

    Fees are non-negotiable.

  • Can I take photos or videos before or after class?

Yes, we encourage you to take photos/videos before or after class!. However, we ask that you respect the privacy of others and do not photograph or film anyone without their explicit consent. During the session, all filming is prohibited.

  • Are grip socks required?

Yes, grip socks are mandatory for all classes, for both your safety and to maintain studio hygiene. You are welcome to bring your own, or we have grip socks available for purchase at the studio for $18.50. You cannot take class without socks for both safety & cleanliness.

  • Why is there a "no phone zone" policy during class?

The primary goal is to ensure all clients can fully engage in their session without distraction. Phone use (ringing, vibrating, texting, scrolling) disrupts the focus of the instructor and fellow participants, taking away from a safe and effective experience for everyone. Please silence your phone (power it off or set it to "do not disturb" mode) and store it with your personal belongings in a locker or cubby outside the studio room.

  • What is the studio's philosophy regarding the community?

We believe this is a sacred space for every body to have space to grow and become the strongest version of themselves.

All patrons, staff, and instructors must be treated with kindness, dignity, and respect. Any form of harassment or discrimination, whether verbal or non-verbal, will not be tolerated. (online + in person).

Failure to respect all types of people is grounds for us to terminate your membership at the discretion of the director/management. The policy applies to interactions with instructors and fellow members.

  • What are the policies regarding the physical space and equipment?

Members are asked to take good care of the space and equipment provided, treating the studio as a shared, sacred area. After each class, please clean and return any props or equipment to their designated spots using the provided wipes.

  • Can I use the Power Plate if I am pregnant?

No, pregnant women are generally advised to avoid using Power Plates or any whole-body vibration equipment. There is insufficient long-term research on the effects of intense WBV on a developing fetus, so the medical community recommends erring on the side of caution.

It is crucial to consult your obstetrician or healthcare provider for exercise recommendations that are safe and appropriate for your pregnancy journey.

  • Can I use the Power Plate if I have a pacemaker?

No, individuals with pacemakers or other electronic medical implants should avoid using Power Plates. The vibrations and associated electromagnetic fields emitted by these devices can potentially interfere with the proper functioning of electronic implants, leading to malfunctions or complications.

Consult a Cardiologist: Before considering any form of vibration exercise, you must consult your cardiologist or the device manufacturer to confirm safety guidelines specific to your pacemaker model.
